Parade with the Pirates of Emerson
July 4th, 2003

A few of us joined forces with the Pirates of Emerson for their Fourth of July parade.
The Pirates of Emerson run a high-tech, commercial pirate haunt in Fremont. We were put into
air-brushed ghoulish makeup and paraded with their crew. Their parade equipment consists of
torches, flags, a large banner and a 150 year-old hearse! Fog and scary music flow from the back
of the hearse as we walk along.
