Here are the directions from the link above:

Before you can put an image into a post, it must be uploaded to a server.
(a server is any computer hooked up to the internet and running 24 hours a day)

If you do not have a website to upload a photo to, there are many sites that will let you load images for free:
http://www.photobucket.com/

Upload your image to the site and copy it's URL (http://www.etc)

Return to the Tales of the Seven Seas forum and begin your post.

Click on the button that says "Img" this will create a coded image tag in the post for you that looks like this [img]

Paste in the URL of your photo and click the "Img" button a second time. It will add another coded tag to the end of your URL. The whole thing should look something like this:
